How to Use in Offerings
- Place fresh or dried mint on Oxumaré's altar alongside their traditional offerings: eggs, corn, honey
- Light a candle in Oxumaré's color (green or yellow or rainbow) and place the herb nearby as an offering
- Best offered on Tuesday, Oxumaré's sacred day
Ritual Instructions
- Begin by greeting Oxumaré: "Arroboboi!"
- Prepare a clean space and place mint in a white or green cloth
- Light incense or the herb itself (if safe to burn) and allow the smoke to cleanse the space
- State your intention clearly, asking for Oxumaré's guidance in matters of rainbow
- Thank Oxumaré for their presence and leave the offering for 4 hours or days
